Goethe-Institut South Africa

The Goethe-Institute of South Africa has funded a new project called ANY BODY DANCE LAB as part of the Goethe Project-Space initiative – a roving platform for the arts. This is a collaboration between ANY BODY ZINE, NEW DANCE LAB and the Theatre Arts Admin Collective.

From this funding we are able to:

Host a 6-week intensive for body-based art practitioners. This includes movement, writing and composition workshops, a performance platform and a publication featuring the residents’ work and includes a travel stipend for residents. Some of the workshops are open to the public, as well as all of the performances by guest artists and participants.
